About the piece:

Inspired by the great slab works of George Nakashima, we designed this table with the tripod base to provide a nice bit of levity, while also showcasing the beautiful weight and grain of a reclaimed piece of Siberian Elm. All components- the top, base, and tripod leg- came from two rare book-matched slabs of Siberian Elm.
